Your first task for our Science unit this term is to explore the great outdoors and find some specimens for our science investigation. You have been provided with a ‘bag for your botany’ and we expect that all bags are returned to school by Friday 6th February containing some of the following samples…
Samples include:- seeds, seed pods, leaves, flowers etc
Perhaps you may come across an empty snail’s shell, a dead insect (who has met it’s end through NATURAL causes)…
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS- search carefully, disturb the surroundings as little as possi
ble, be gentle, beware of bites and stings. Will you be the botanist who brings the most bizarre specimen for classification? Happy searching.
